Boosting Tripoli's economic cooperation between public and private sectors

The Minister of Public Works and Transport, Fayez Rasamny, met today in his office with the Board of Directors of the Tripoli Special Economic Zone (TSEZ), headed by Dr. Hassan Dhannawi. During the meeting, the Minister was briefed on plans to develop the economic zone, aimed at attracting local and foreign investment, boosting exports, and enhancing integration between the zone and the ports of Tripoli and Beirut.

The discussion also touched upon ways to develop future projects within the economic zone in cooperation with the private sector, in an effort to strengthen investment and stimulate economic activity.

Furthermore, the parties discussed the significance of the Qleiat Airport and its future role in supporting economic movement. They explored linking the airport to the Tripoli Special Economic Zone to foster integration between vital facilities and support growth and investment opportunities in Lebanon.
