Finance Minister Discusses Economic Activation of Tripoli Special Economic Zone

Minister of Finance Yassin Jaber met with a delegation from the Tripoli Special Economic Zone, headed by Mr. Hassan Dannawi, to discuss the Zone's work and ways to activate its role.

The Minister emphasized the importance of the Special Economic Zone for the Lebanese economy and its potential role in supporting regional activities, including expected reconstruction efforts in Syria. He also highlighted the importance of Tripoli Port and ongoing customs modernization as supportive factors for economic growth.

Discussions on financial matters showed positive understanding toward supporting a stable launch of the Zone under its new management.
