Tripoli Special Economic Zone Board Presents 100-Day Plan to Prime Minister
Beirut, Lebanon — The newly appointed Board of Directors of the Tripoli Special Economic Zone (TSEZ), headed by Dr. Hassan Dannawi, met with Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam at the Grand Serail to present the Zone's "100-Day Plan."
The roadmap sets out immediate priorities to reactivate the role of the Special Economic Zone, strengthen governance mechanisms, and accelerate the implementation of key projects.
During the meeting, Dr. Dannawi outlined the main challenges facing the Zone and emphasized the importance of close coordination with the Prime Minister's Office and the relevant ministries to secure the required institutional and operational support.
The discussions highlighted the strategic importance of the Tripoli Special Economic Zone as a driver for economic growth and investment in Tripoli and North Lebanon. Both sides recognized the Zone's potential to contribute to job creation and regional economic development.
The Board reaffirmed its commitment to advancing the Zone's development agenda and to working closely with government stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of priority initiatives.
